PT.  Focus Convensindo as the appointed organizer by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia for the event of “Indonesian Reception” that was held on 8 October 2010 in Hilton Hotel Guadalajara, Mexico would like to extend its warmest gratitude to all the people who has worked very hard throughout the event, especially from The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indonesian Embassy in Mexico and all the people from Indonesian telecommunication operator.

The Indonesian Reception was held during the 10^th Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-10) from 4-22 October 2010 in Expo Guadalajara, Mexico and it was an ambitious campaign to get other countries’ vote to put Indonesia as one of the ITU Council member from 2010-2014.

The campaign went successful. On the election day, 11 October 2010, Indonesia received majority votes from other countries and once again become the ITU Council member from 2010-2014.

The reception started by giving a traditional batik scarf to the guests arriving at the foyer, and then continued by the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Mr. TIfatul Sembiring welcoming all guests on the entrance door. On the Ballroom, all the guests were entertained by Indonesian cultural performances which are traditional dances from West Java and Bali and angklung performance. During the angklung performance, everyone got a chance to play angklung together and also be able to take the angklung as souvenir. Mr. Hamadoun Toure, as the Secretary of the ITU was one of the guest who has a wonderful moment playing angklung.
